Both Terminals were disconnected for two days when I pulled the whole Interrior our to shampoo the carpet.
(These functions did not work prior to disassembling the car for cleaning)

FYI. Some OBD codes can render the cruise control inoperative. You may want to pull the codes again, clear them and then see if the cruise will work. You'll have to try the cruise right after clearing so the problem code doesn't come back.

Yes. Some pending codes do not throw a CEL. Failed cruise control is sometimes an indication of an ODB code that hasn't triggered a CEL. I had this happen on my old Trailblazer once.

If you pull the carpet? There’s ground wires in that area under the dash and console

As stated, the carpet was pulled after the cruise began to not work. The cruise was not a functioning item at the time of pulling the carpet out.

Actually, that's not what the original post said. It implied that you are assuming the 1 clutch switch is good, because it starts.

Have you actually tested all 4 switches that are on the pedals?

As firemangeorge often points out; on a standard you must step on the brakes at least once after the engine is started to use the CC. In the off chance you happen to park in a way that it is possible to never use the brakes before trying the CC.
