Accident? I did try to argue TPM position as a safety issue with no luck; nobody remembered Ford/Firestone (the reason for mandatory TPMS).
GM Service departments don't believe anything about TSBs, They will always reply "internet", even GM is "internet".
If the do it right the new firmware will take care of the problem.
