Extending my warranty

I have a 2008 HHR and I have taken the car in twice once because my hub needed to be changed out and recently because my cataylic converter needed to be replaced because it was making noise. I am at 33,000 miles and I am wondering should I buy an extended warranty?

I got a GM quote for $1,368 for 3 years/45,000 and I can pay for 18 months so it only comes out to $76 a month but I am not sure if a warranty is needed.

Any thoughts?

your drivetrain is good for 100k...read over the original first to see whats not covered and what you want covered.....go from there

If you read my sig about working on your own car you can guess what I'll say.

Beyond that, I would say... if you are going to spend money on it... do this instead.

Put $50 away each month... when something brakes you'll have $$ available for the repair. This way you'll even save from the $76 monthly payment.
