I ordered the nylon kit that goes from tank to mid-section.

Oldblue, did you buy new heat wrap and wrap the lines where they were wrapped from the factory?

I re used some of the old insulation after letting it dry in the sun

i have a 2077 hhr LS. what type of fitting it there on the hose from the tank to the metal gas hose is it a typr of clip or do i need a tool

As the directions show blow the fitting clear with compressed air if you have it and a squirt of WD 40 to lube it oring , then you can separate the bundy fitting, For that you squeeze the D shaped fitting gentle with a pair or pliers and gently pull and twist the metal line out.

Be Careful here double check the new metal line to ensure there is no burr which will destroy the oring!
