Fuel Tank 20866941 - Vent line issue - looking for new replacement
Hello All,
Been a while since my last post but I have been getting the fuel smell in the cabin and around vehicle when filled up. Gotten to the point that I calculate the gallons it takes without having to fill all the way to avoid smell.
I am located in the High Desert of California and my 07 HHR 2.2L LS has always been a Cali car so there is no rust including the fuel and vapor lines. Checked and no signs of any pin holes.
I have read posts about the same issue but have yet to get an answer to my question.
Has anyone bought a new tank from GM. Part no. 20866941 and does it come with the new vent lines? GM Parts Direct Customer Service was not able to confirm.
This is my last resort and I really love this car and would like to keep it running. Other than this nuisance, it runs perfect.

A bit pricey but I would rather avoid the complications that fuel vapors can bring.
Appreciate the help!
I am simply confirming part number in case my shop states the yellow vent lines are toast as I do not think there is an adhesive that will resist fuel long term.
Trying to keep it running. Body and interior are in great shape, runs smooth and at 160K, I think it has lots of life left over. Plus I love that it is no frills car, no power seats, no ABS or anything that would cost a fortune to replace. Can't complain, got the car about 10 yrs ago for $1k and has served me well as a daily driver when I used to drive into work.
