I have a 2009 HHR and the right headlight is not working on dim. It works on bright. We are towing it with our motorhome, and picked up a replacement bulb which we haven't installed yet. I noticed that when I lock the car with the remote, both headlights will come on for the proper duration. My husband and a friend checked the relays and didn't find any that are bad. This makes me wonder whether replacing the bulb is going to correct the problem. Any ideas as to what's going on?

 

Welcome to the site, change the bulbs and look at the headlight connections for burnt plastic.

 

How about the DRLs? They are low beams. If I remember correctly the flash on unlock is high beams.
