Installing factory fog lights 2006 LS
The posts have been moved to this new thread.
the difference between switches is the shape of the cut out.
If your aim is to avoid programming, I would just use the existing wiring and and install a high beam cutout relay and a momentary switch. As was discussed the yellow wire activates the relay.
Easier to use the existing fuse and relay if you are already willing to mess with the fuse box.
A VOM or test light would verify which wires are already connected. You have a schematic and evidently some knowledge.
in the factory setup the switch sends ground to the BCM then the BCM sends a 12V + to the relay on the yellow wire.
The simplest ,but not legal, way is to insert a relay in place of the BCM or wire the switch to voltage. To be legal you need to cut the high beams off.

If this is a 2006 tap into the low beam circuit with a relay. That would enable only when low beams are on, satisfying the law about high beams.
Look at the headlight circuit.
Low beam relay output to your switch that energizes a relay with separate supply to turn the fogs on.

I would use 1, 2 or 3 in that order to activate a power relay.
