I replaced mine last year. Two fronts broke a day apart. Opted for the metal replacements and they are considerably heavier and fit perfect - easy repair.

I may opt for metal if this doesn't hold up. I am confident it snapped because of the bitter cold and my passenger thought the door was frozen shut. In the attempt to open the door...the handle broke.
