Must be remote start only. Well at least for my 07 manual trans that is as I can start mine with my hood open.

Wow...Hats off to donbrew. I would have never thought to look at that darn ground on the radiator support. Once I popped the hood it was obvious of what my problem was. Somehow the nut had backed off preventing a good ground. Thanks to you guys she's back on the road again. I really appreciate your assistance. Needless to say, I know where to go should I have additional problems.

Glad to hear that you are back on the road. It is always nice when the fix is simple and free. But then again you can always send Donbrew $100 for his diagnostic fee.
