So... is it leaking, fluid level going down? Has the CEL come back?

Too bad you didn't save the dough you laid out for the depos, tail lites & etc..

So does it still leak or what ?

I have decided that Dex-Cool evaporates more readily than the green stuff, so you just have to check it more often than never (my old theory).

I've had mine about a year and a half, a little less, and haven't seen mine change. I mean it goes up and down with hot vs cold but the cold check level has remained the same.

I donno.... I'm still going with the "alien kids".

X 2,

I raised the cold level of DexCool in my reservior bottle by 2 inches & marked it.. Easier to see for me, plus more in reserve..

And yes I did test to see the highest level in Hottest weather, running hard & A/C on.. No problemo man..

Since my oil change I have had no fluid level problems.. I am being told now it's possibly a stuck open coolant valve or a faulty ECT sensor.

Start with the thermostat Kev, everything is pointing in that direction and its a fairly cheap and easy fix. Keep us posted as to how you make out OK.
