Thank you. I did see Amazon selling them but was surprised to see Rock Auto not. The GM Direct boys et al have them for 33-35$(+shipping). Amazon has the 2 day prime shipping. Thanks for the heads up.

One thing I've noticed about Rock Auto is that you can literally look up parts one day and see specific brands, then 2 days later some aren't there. If you wait a week they will probably be there again.

Amazon can be a good source but they don't have everything either.

The part numbers are in our how to section.
I used these for my daughter's 2010 2.2L Cobalt, which is the same engine as the 2.2 HHR. Work great, absolutely no issues either installing or use after about 7 weeks.

Replaced both intake and exhaust solenoids with Gates brand, have a lifetime warranty and were reasonably priced from Rock Auto. Of course they were made in china, whatever. Went to start and would run for 1-2 seconds and die just like before. Tried pushing pedal to floor and it would run for 3-4 seconds. Did this 6-10 times and it finally stayed running and smoothed out fine. Called it a day and no test drive. Went out today, it started fine and went on a 20 mile drive and all seems good. I guess it needed "priming" to get the valves/solenoids pressurized again with oil. Was thinking I should replace the fuel filter too but apparently there isn't a separate one(There is on the cobalt though-supposedly same platform). Thank you for your advice. Now to seal the deal with an oil change. Got a new Wix air filter. Guess what.....Made in China!
