If you gripe enough, sometimes GM will re-do a recall if it fails again. I seem to recall a TSB for power steering motor that basically says if a car is presented with a ps bad motor, fix it. No mention of checking to see if it's been done before. Could be wrong.

PSA, any GM dealer can address such issues, and you won't get the same experience at every dealer.

I see you donbrew. Rita, please review post #16. If the problem is indeed the timing chain, continued cranking(and operation) could destroy the engine.
