You will need to take it to a AC pro to get the new freon in. Legally you need a pro to remove the old freon.

 

What happens on my campground stays on my campground! j/k. I will look into this. Since summer is almost over and I am done with all my long summer drives with this car, I may just wait until spring 2025, right before I need the A/C again, just incase the car does not make it, or I'll do it if I get bored between now and then.

 

The AC also does defrost.

 

The blower and heat work fine for that. I don't really need it as an essential. No time constraints, can always wait. Am hermit in the woods, have the fully functioning truck in the case of a morning evacuation emergency, (or the bike, technically, though no drivers lic for it yet) Frost is pretty infrequently seen on windshields in my winters. And then the rare 1 day of snow per year we get heheh. I thought I had a better picture of my car in snow but this one of Lucario looking at my vehicles will have to do.



But, if I get through my other projects and get bored before spring I'll just do it then probably. Will revive thread later, thanks all for help!
