Pop goes the radio ? ? ?
This may seem like a wierd question but how long did it take you all to get the radio fixed? the popping just started for me 2 days ago and i more or less read the TSB report to the service manager and he told me to come in tommorow morning. The only problem is that i need the car back on Sat. Would it be wrong to ask them if they can not fix the problem tommorw to have the car back and them bring it back in on Monday. Also would it be a good idea to bring the report with me and tell them these are the problems i am having and this is how you can fix it.

When addressing to the service consultant, just give them the description of the problem, word for word as it is writtten on the TSB. They will write it up as such, and the technicians will have to match it to the TSB's. However, it would not hurt at the end to mention the TSB number. My service consultant was a bit annoyed when I tried to explain that I just wanted to have this particular TSB corrected. So played along with him, and pretended like I knew nothing...this will depend on your area though....

PLEASE!
All fixed
I took my HHR in for a few fix'ems today...since it was 1 week. On the list- the radio POP. I enclosed the TSB articles and there were no questions. I actually have to say, my dealership is AMAZING! They all know my name and whenever I stop in my sales rep pops up out of now where to say hello and check on me. They get 5 STARS from me.
But yes- my radio is POP is gone!

PLEASE!

PLEASE!
No more POP
Went to my dealer explained the problem with the popping thru the speakers. I could not get it to duplicate. Explained about the TSB that I found on this site and after checking the Dealer fixed the problem.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
well its been two weeks sice i went to get the popping fixed and today it came back, i was simply making a turn off of the expressway. I had a 12pk of soda in the back do not know if that was it. So i am going to go nice and early tommorow and hopefully they can reflash it and hoefully it will stick this time.,
Pop goes the radio
My HHR is doing that too! I have my Sirius Sportster plugged into the 12V outlet in the middle console. The dealer said that was the reason and to try a ground loop isolater...Also when I use my blinker the radio makes a static sound sometimes then it stops after the blinker is turned off. Very weird? Anyone having that problem? Don't get me wrong...love my car but that sound scares the crap out of me and it's not good for the speakers....
