Pop goes the radio ? ? ?

Well, this has all been interesting reading. My GF has an 06 HHR and she has been having the radio pop problem for some time now. I took it back to Glendora Chevrolet in Glendora, CA for the 5th time this morning. They've re-programmed the radio twice and replaced the amplifier this past Friday. Sure enough the radio popped again when we went out on Sunday. I'll be asking the Service Writer about the TSB when we go back to pick it up this afternoon.

[QUOTE=Violet_HHR;253488]These are the notes I typed out for myself:
The radio "pop" problem is addressed in TSB #06-08-44-007C, Radio distortion and Pop Noise
The audio quality/poor reception on FM band is addressed in TSB #06-08-44-016 or TSB#06-08-44-016B (updated)
Ask that they follow the TSBs to the letter, no short cuts. Note that I have heard of dealers taking short cuts and the the issues returning.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Can Violet or someone provide a direct link the TSB 06-08-44-007C? We just got my husband's HHR back from the dealer and they say they followed the instructions on the TSB 06-08-44-007B...but they also told us that the turn signal "audio bleeding" was UNrelated...and we even gave them a copy of the 007B TSB which states "Audio bleeding through the turn signals..." Of course, within 24 hours after getting the HHR back, the turn signal bleeding occurred again. Arghh! Thanks in advance, Sherry
