Put some oil in it, screw on filter cap, crank it up and let us know what happens. I once cracked my filter cap by over torquing it, it popped off while I was driving to work (40mph). I smelled burning oil and pulled over. It was gushing oil. I probably had 1 quart of oil left in it. I never got an oil low light. I never heard engine noise. I towed it home and ordered a new oil filter cap and topped off the oil, took about 4-5 quarts. I am still driving it today.
