The one over there on the right, yeah, I’d suggest installing a bolt there, but a new one will come with a new strut mount bearing plate,

or a new quickstrut





that ground sticker is there for those that need to connect jumper cables or a juice box to get the old girl started.

I do agree with you in that this "patch" DOES NOT fix the issue, it just hides it.

I'm glad you found the problem.
You now know the issue is a ground wire,so,
If you're going to fix an issue, do it right.
I just finished getting a new wire put, with ring crimp ends.
I think I'll leave it like this for a while until I have more time to look at the ground wire issue.
I'll take extra care when jumpstart ing, if the need arises.

But if I did have to check, where should I start looking for that ground wire?

The black wire coming out of the TCM connector and going to a ground

Basically any bolt with wires that doesn't look like it is connected to anything other than the engine or the body.
