My 2008 hhr can do burnouts just if I do it for a certain amount of time my motor doesn’t want to give power till I let off the gas and go back into it I need y’all’s help trying to figure out this problem it ain’t got traction control and idk what would cause it

 

Is your 2008 HHR an SS?

 

It has the badges of a ss but it ain’t a ss it’s either a lt or ls

 

There is a RPM limiter in the ECM.
Why do you want to trash tires?

 

First off , pry off those SS badges, cause without the turbo, it’s just a nice car! Not a performance car! The SS had a lot more horsepower than the LS or LT’s
try the Bullit movie trick, spray some WD 40 on the tires, loads of smoke and a much shorter tire treadlife
