Have 06 - anyone change the power mirror switch? Have to remove whole door panel? Thanks.

Direct answer is "no", just remove the 2 star head screws under the rubber flap in the door pull hole, then pop the module out.

Finally got around to putting in the new switch. No problems - just two torque screws holding the cup in. Unplug the wiring, pull out the old switch and back in with the new one, plug wiring back in the switch and IT WORKS!

 

I know it's too late, but you do not need to change the mirror switch, just remove them from the door, and open, then it's just to clear the dust with a brush and electronics spray, reassemble and it's clear and you can save a penny, here in Sweden, I saved about 56 dollars and it took me about 30 minutes, no so bad!
