i don't think it is an antenna problem because when the radio makes static or no noise at all and you turn the volume knob , it puts the volume graphic on the radio screen and no matter which way you turn the knob or how many times you turn the volume knob it does not get louder or quieter. and the volume graphic does not change by adding or removing those little sound blocks to the volume graphic.

I have only researched things applicable to the BCM - so no, I would not know. If however, you would detail what you are actually trying to do you may spike somebody's interest that might already have your answer OR another way to attack what you are trying to do. Might want to start your own thread, we have taken enough of the OP thread.
