To be honest I dont even really use it all that much and I see alot of snow and some rain, but for the most part I dont even bother.

I don't think it's normal. Mine does the same thing, but I've seen maybe 10 HHR's and 8 of them had the wiper at rest parallel with the bottom of the window. There are two part numbers for the rear wiper motor, 22709459 which was replaced by 15943776. Since the 227 part was for a variety of vehicles including early HHRs. I won't know until I try it, but I'm thinking that the 227 motor had the short sweep and the 159 had the full sweep. If anyone out there knows anything about this, please post. Thanx.

I find when I use the rear wiper, it parks different when I use the washer button, then when I use the constant run button or the delayed button. So I use the delay button to run it a few sweeps and then turn it off. It parks normally

Can't buy the notion that the rear wiper is useless. I don't use it a lot, but when I can't see and I wanna, I wannit. Don't care if it's imperfect.

Now I want to take a pic of the sweep and post it.

"Post yer rear wiper sweep." LOL.
