Flex pipe broke a few months ago. As advised here, I checked the motor mounts, but didn't see any damage. Today, I revved the engine with the hood up and the front came up so high, I'm now worried that the engine is going to end up on the roof if I floor it. Bought the kit from RockAuto, will be replacing the easiest ones first. I'm crafty, but I never got to get really deep into any car engines, so I don't know where else to look for possible damage caused by the mounts. Any advice? Flex pipe is still holding out, My shocks and struts are almost as new as the flex pipe, control arm bushings are still solid. '08 LT 2.2L, 165K.
