Replacing the thermostat tomorrow, how annoying is it to locate and access?
#22
Randomly decided to visit this thread tonight. So I guess it's time for a (nearly) 6 month update.
My car generally runs between 187 and 194. It goes as high as 201 and low as 181 that I've personally witnessed. I've put almost 4k miles on this new thermostat since installing it. In fact, between yesterday and today, as some of you have seen my more recent post about changing my O2 sensor (which worked out great btw), I've put almost a thousand on it on two long trips. Despite it being a Carquest part (yes, it was a CQ box), it's been working well. Haven't gotten any new CEL regarding the thermostat, but I know to get the ACDelco parts now. I lucked out (for now).
