2011 hhr fuel line repair how big of a job is it ? You can smell gas from drivers side rear wheel area

You should replace both fuel and vapor lines. They both run through there and rust is common in that area.

Here's the replacement Nylon tube kit.
This one goes half way, You don't have change the complete set of tubing if you don't want to.

But while you can just do half the job, why risk leaks further up the pipes as you have to remove them from the clamps to make room for the tubing cutter, and mine had a pinhole up at the second mount clip from the engine , it would not have been covered with the half set.

That's why I listed both kits " You don't have change the complete set of tubing if you don't want to."
An option for the owner. Maybe lack of funds ?

I’m pointing out a potential problem, from experience, if I had only ordered the half kit, I would be waiting for the whole kit because of the leak up front. That’s all , just my observation, from replacing the lines on Oldblue and the BlackSwan.

you have to ask yourself, “Do I feel lucky? Well, do I?”
