Slightly different TPMS issue

Thanks, I guess I will have to go back to the dealer for reprogramming.
I too wondered about the RCDLR being bad but it is a small electronic device, stuck in the part of the roof that gets the hottest, especially down here in Florida. Prior to replacing it I could not get anything to work and after I changed it I could get the key FOBs to work and the TPMS warning light went off so I guess the tech was right.

Eventually I will probably have to go back to the dealer to have the new RCDLR reprogrammed. I read the info above but I am not sure exactly how they can get the information out of a bad RCDLR, but I will take the old one with me when I go back to the dealer.
In the meantime, I am not in a hurry since my key fobs work just fine. I can go through the TPMS relearn procedure from start to end and the horn honks and lights work as designed. The TPMS warning light remains off. The only issues is that on my DIC all I have is dashes, instead of pressure. One thing I have yet to try is to lower the air pressure on a tire and see if I get a warning. Just curious to see what happens. I do have a TPMS tool and all of the TPMS sensors are functioning and give a pressure reading. Using the Autel tool I can see all of the TPMS sensors and the pressures but still no reading on my DIC. As I said I am not in any hurry to give the dealer a bunch of money to juts see the tire pressures. I will post back tomorrow after I reduce the air in one tire and see if I get a warning.
