Steering issue

Hi, folks. I recently bought a 2006 HHR, I really like it, but when driving and hitting a bump the car kinda jumps around. It seems like mostly in the rear, not sure. With winter coming I need to do something. The shocks and struts are not leaking. Someone said control arms?
The mileage is 147,000. Any ideas welcome

My car used to follow cracks in the street. I changed the outer tie rod ends with MOOG parts and it really stiffened up the steering and no longer follows the road flaws.

LCA’s can be the resolve for a bad bushing or loose ball joints.
Inner and outer tie rods or the rack gear and pinion are loose.
It’s easy to change the whole steering rack .

That many miles and a 13 year old car, better check the entire suspension system. I'll bet you've got a lot of worn parts on that HHR.
