Cleaning it manually with a wire probe works, some folks will blow it out with compressed air(but you have to be careful), going from memory here...but I think the inside diameter of the drain is about 7/16".

843de - didn't someone say you could see the butyl patch by removing the cabin filter and looking upward or something?

You know I think you can see the patch that way, but I haven't found the thread with that reference yet, I'll do more searching later on this morning.

If the cabin filter is wet it would point to the patch being the source of the leak.

I have read the post about the vehicle being in the dealership about 40 miles ago for the work that 843de had mentioned. You might want to have them look at the work they performed. There should be a 12 month OR 12,000 mile warranty on this. If they find it is the repair that they had done then it should be covered under that warranty.

I hope you are able to get this resolved soon.

I have read on other forums I monitor about dealership having something to get rid of the musty smell you are experiencing.

I look forward to any updates you would like to share.

Ok so i've cleaned out the drain the best i can... the water is still there... how hard is it to take apart all that stuff under the dash... the blower and the box that sits in between the driver and passenger side under the dash
