Waterleak in floorboard

I bought a new 2007 HHR and a couple days ago had the water leak in the passager foorboard,Saw what everyone said to check so my husband checked under the cowl where the butyl patch is suppose to be and theres not one there. Don't understand why it has'nt leaked before in 3 years and it's making noise when I turn left or right. To me it seems like it's ac water coming out.But the other day it did rain and had about a half gallon dripped out but it's still leaking but not as much. You think chevy will put a patch on since I don't have one? Thanks

Welcome-

Do you have a sunroof ?

And IIRC ? 2006 & '07 only had need of the patch, which was an access hole to get in there..
it was later re-designed, & done away with.

Read this link for more info:

What kind of noise are doing? Humming, grinding, a noise like the wheel is hitting the inner well?

It does'nt sound like a tire more like it's coming from the ac vents.

Sounds like the blower motor bearings ( I mean bushings) are shot, letting the fan hit the blower housing during hard turns. As to the water.... well probably the AC condensate drain line is plugged up with gooo and I belive there is a thread about that in here somewhere.
Just a thought.
