Initial calls and contact with people up there indicate that the farther we move into May, the more difficult the weekends get to book. Amazing how many weekends are already booking up -- Schools in TN start getting out for summer the second week of May, so tourist season starts almost immediately. Lot's of things to keep in mind here. More people will be available to participate once school is out, but booking weekends after school is out is tougher. Once we get into the busier season, there will be a lot more people and a lot more cars on the road up there. Speaking from experience, it took us 1.5 hours (yes, HOURS) to get from our motel in Pigeon Forge up to the central part of Gatlinburg. With traffic like this, it's hard to get much done in a day. All things to keep in mind.

Its cool Tim.. I am in with the MidAmHHRs and this would be our Big Run for 2009...

I hope gas prices don't go nuts and keep some from coming... But I have been there and have customers in Sevierville.. lots of fun there.. Availability is the name of the game.

You sure you want to do that? We may all end up having to sleep in our cars and eat in parking lots after going through drive-thrus!

Seriously ... it would be my pleasure to work on this meet!
