I replaced my fronts at 17K or so. Both hit the squeal bars. Seems awfully soon, but changing them is a snap.

GONE! GONE? Man I would have some deep reservations about what they said. How could they be gone? Where the calipers gone too? And if so didn't you ever notice any brake fluid on the inner tires or on the ground? Damn!!! I going to check all of my brake components for torque.

I'm almost at 40K miles with the original brakes. I do a large percentage of my driving on the interstate. Since I'll be going in soon for new tires, I'm thinking of getting new brake pads as well. Hopefully they won't try to rip me off for new rotors.

Getting my fronts replaced next week at 28,3XX miles. My dealer (Don Brown Chevy) esimates the price at $215.00.

I just had to do mine at 22k. I was surprised a bit, cause that seemed to quick in timeline, but then I looked at those tiny little pads and realized not too bad. I used the Wagners also. $55 and a hours worth of work which included jacking it up and a beer brake here and there. Easiest brake job ever! Really nice setup , but really smallish parts. i bet the Brembos kick butt compared to '08 stockers

why go to the dealer and get the crap replaced with the same crap ? .. I understand warranties but even then i scratch my head thinkiong great this part broke way before it should have and im gonna go get another one of the same. Especially with brakes.. dea;ership is the last place i would go.
