Trouble codes are the letter followed by 4 digits. So it's P0806.

That code indicates a problem, you replaced the sensor switch, now that’s not it.
next is the wires, a loose or broken ground wire would be my guess

A. Why? I can't think of a reason.
B. Why are you posting one sentence at a time? No extra charge for paragraphs and carriage returns.
C. P0806 indicates the Cluitch Position sensor Signal wire is compromised.

My previous advice stands. Along with insuring the Lt-Green wire is intact between the clutch pedal and the ECM, but all 3 need to be checked.

would you know what wires I could jump out to trick the computer so I can drive it today? Part is on order. And it’s my only car.

I would try grounding the lt.green wire in the plug. Disconnect the connector and run a wire from ground to the lt.green contact in the harness. Or, jump the lt green to one of the other wires one at a time.

The switch is a variable resister with 5V on the dk blue/white wire and ground on or/grn. I would try A to B first then C to B, if neither works ground B. Don't ground C or you will short the ECM.

Seems to be some different color codes, here is the connector pins.

Your profile shows that you have a 2008. This is the SS forum, do you have an SS? The SS has a clutch pedal position sensor, the LS/LT did not, in 2008.

I did not know that. The wiring diagram shows it for all.

I think you're right, looks like the change for 2008 affected all trim levels. My mistake.
