Anyone have a part # or link to the banjo bolt that goes onto the thermostat housing? What is the line its hooked up to called?
I cant find anything on Rock Auto. The old bolt is rusted and I had to tighten it pretty good to get it to stop leaking with the car off but it's leaking a little with the car on
Also does it need a washer behind it? Its rusted so this might be the issue.
Your Owner Manual say anywhere between the marks on the dipstick is good. Are you sure you are pushing it all the way in and the tube has not pulled up? It usually takes 10-15 minutes for all of the oil to return to the pan, on a LEVEL surface, if the front end is jacked up the dipstick will show empty.
The ticking is most likely the High pressure fuel pump.
The HHR has all metric nuts & bolts. Most banjo fittings use 2 copper washers.
Thank you! I figured it needed a washer or something.
Going to see if a local Chevy dealership has it tomorrow before I buy it online. Any suggestions on search terms for AutoZone or rock auto?
Took her out for a few hours and she ran great. Don't think it's going to pass smog though. She's smoking a bit and I can smell it in the cabin sometimes.
