Should be behind the engine on the driver side

 

 

I noticed a bunch of condensation on the windshield 2 days in a row. Along with the lack of heat from vents, would this indicate a bad heater core?

 

Are the carpets wet?

 

A little bit. But even the top of the floormats are too. Which I'm assuming was leftover from the rain that might have got in when we drive it home in the rain and opened the windows or doors.

 

In any case, the heater hoses look great, so that's eliminated.

 

Could be the wet carpet, lack of heat could also be there’s air in the cooling system, do you hear any gurgling sounds from behind the dashboard?

 

Is the mist oily?

 

Didn't hear any gurgling. I put more coolant in the long going towards the engine and got a mirror and light and tried to find the leak. I found some wet areas around it. Could not find the source. 😢

I did notice this little black tube on the passenger side that almost looks cut or broken. Half of it goes into the cabin. Not sure if this is normal.

Also noticed some greasy lines in the engine going to the radiator.

Also took the air box going to the turbo off and it was a greenish oily liquid. A little debris inside too.

managed to get this picture. This was the best area I could manage to see. It looks as if some kind of gunk has slowly dripped out and blocked the weep hole? Assuming this is the water pump?

 

the coolant that is dripping is 100% orange and clean.
