Gauge mounting options???
I need to find someone better at graphic design to try to make a skin for the Dashdaq that matches the RPD better than my feeble attempt. The A-pillars are ready for paint, the dash in the picture is being replaced by one that isn't as gouged up, and the glove box needs a final sanding. I have test fit the linear actuator and confirmed that it and the track I have the gauges mounted to function as intended.
Sent off a letter to GM parts direct, asking for a parts list needed to install the A-pillar boost gauge. They responded that I need to send them an '08 SS VIN# (along with mine) before they'll provide the list, as they want to be 100% sure there won't be any install issues, as my SS is an '09. Can anyone here PM me with theirs?

I was able to win a aeroforce interceptor gauge on eBay. So now I need to figure out where and how to do it. I still want to keep the stock boost gauge so I need to figure something out. I like the gauges on the dash near the A pillar but I don't l feel comfortable about drilling holes on my dash. Lots of good ideas on here. Let's see what I can come up with
Finally set my gauge up. I didn't want to drill any holes into the dash so I just used some heavy duty outdoor 3M Tape. I did my best to keep the wire out of site, I ran the wire down through a panel on the side and down to the OBDII port. So far so good. For some reason the Gauge pod was loose so I used a thinner strip of 3M tape and placed around the pod and bracket to keep it from moving...a little ghetto I know but it got the job done
