If it was a 2008 and we were talking about the TPMS that might be true but we cleared that part up a few months ago. That is a problem with not starting a new thread for a new problem and not hijacking threads

Thanks for all the great information. I took a quick look at Dorman and it looks like there may be a solution there. I'll dig deaper tomorrow. I had the other original fob that came with the car. My wife wore it out pretty good and it did not work. just for the fun of it I took the guts out of it and put it in my fob and it now works. The combination of her guts and my case has at least temporarily solved the problem.

Sorry about hijacking this thread but it wasn't very old and it was going in the exact direction I needed to go so I tagged on. It looked like the OP had gotten what he needed and was gone from the thread.
I really appreciate the help I got.

New keypads are cheap look on ebay. Intermittent means keypad not circuit board. If you change batteries; carefully push the old one out, the battery cage is barely held on by solder.

I recently replaced all my TPMS SENSORS & bought a RESET TOOL from EBAY, the traditional way of using the DIC wouldn't work when trying to reset = the TPMS RESET TOOL i got from EBAY worked, & it was a super quick & easy process...

The EL 50448 device works well for the relearn process.
