Stalling Issue

I have the same year and model. Last month the car started becoming hard to start. No codes relating to fuel showed up. I tested spark, compression, fuel pressure,electrical circuits because my engine eventually would not start. As mentioned no codes. After much consideration, I replaced the High pressure fuel pump. Problem solved.
Unrelated, but after checking the timing chain, it was loose and the plastic guide was broken. All repaired and running like a Champ! I was surprised that a timing chain was bad at 140000kms.

Idle Control Valve?
Hi again so I have a quick question. Does the HHR SS have Idle Control Valve or something similar? I was thinking about replacing it since the issue only happens after cold start. I have searched but unable to see any info about it.

Will consider that. For now I want to start with the easier stuff but yes the fuel pump since to be problematic. Amazing car. As a new owner I'm truly impressed so far. Impressive fuel MPG. Great performance. The interior styling makes it feel like a luxury car. Best car seats I've sat on so far.
