What is the model of the scanner they loaned you? Perhaps i could persuade my dealer to do the same for me if I am specific enough with them.

That being said, any progress, diagnosis or remedy?

It's some round thing with a light on the top and when you have the problem, you hit the buutton and it recods 20sec before and 20 sec after.

So I waited 5 days for the surge to happen again so I could record it and it finally did it again today on the way home. Did it a bunch of times but I go 2 of them. If I can get a coupl more before I return it tomorrow, that'll be great.

Im so wondering WTF is causing it or what the scanner will say.

Well this was a good day sorta.. So yesterday I got recoded 2 surges and then today while on my way to the dealer, I got 1 more. But, then a good thing happens, the Turbo didn't go past 5 PSI or boost. It's at the dealer now.

The Dealer called me and said "They Don't know what exactly what it is but it did have a code. Told me it could be "Sensor, Turbo, or Computer". Um, well that doesn't do any good. Computer did record the surge. I'll let you know more tomorrow.

Mine has been at the dealer for 3 days. Got a call yesterday (day 2) that they were going to replace the solenoid valve. Recieved a call this afternoon that they were ordering in a vaccuum kit that would be there tomorrow? There was a code stored I'll post it when I get it from them hopefully when I pick up the car tomorrow (highly unlikely).

Well, from what they just said, they are talking to many people about the issue. Sending the reading to some big wigs. I'm telling you, it's the Turbo but they don't listen.

Yep, sits in the cupholder.

Press it once after you start the car, press it again when the issue occurs. Funny, I drove close to 200 miles today and the car drove like a champ. Before they put the onboard computer in the issue was an all the time occurance.
