Weather won't cooperate. Can't test, can't tune. Only detail, detail, detail. I hope it will pay off come show season.

All installed and it runs with no codes. The tune is way off, boost comes on WAY too early and WAY too hard, it WILL break something like this. It's going to the local tuning shop as soon as our weather comes around and the city fixes the potholes. Three straight weeks of ice has taken it's toll here. (it did light the tires at 60 mph on the first test hit)

Are you gonna have the boost come in slow and steady I'm assuming? Like come in at 3500 and slowly ramp up.

I'm planning to order my turbo here in the coming weeks. I'll only be running 350ish for a while to help insure I don't break anything lol.

Always a compromise between power and streetablilty, just gotta hit the sweet spot so you can enjoy the power without breaking parts.

Yes...
That's why I stayed with the stock turbo + E47
Smooth power, with gobs of torque, & never any knock issues…
12.3s at the track, & I can break the tires loose, at 40 MPH
Make sure that you run full synthetic trans fluid,
I use Valvoline, FULL synthetic transmission fluid
+ some 4t45E, trans setting changes, in your tune…
Most important to cut the shift time, in half, & to keep, (retain), torque reduction nannys, below 3,000RPM…
NEVER, EVER, CHANGE THE LINE PRESSURE SETTING

For me e47/85 isn't an option so I'm going zfr with a nice gentle ramp. Shooting for 350 until I can either A. Pick up a manual wagon B. Do a six speed swap or C. Figure out how to put a 4t65 in.

Nooo, to the 4t65E
I've heard of repair shops, with way more dead 65s, than 45s

However there are parts for the 4t65 while it may break i know theyre are parts avaible to fix the weak points that's my biggest complaint with our transmissions no aftermarket support.

No e fuel is available within 100 miles, so i have to do it with 93. Synthetic fluid and filter helps, but mostly the life of the auto is controlled with the right ankle.
