My car et's best in competitive mode and in "D", no launch control, just hold it at 2k with the brake and ease into it. With this new setup and tune, I'll find out over several test and tune nights. I really try not to get stupid on the street.

I've been struggling with this setup since the install, only to learn a vacuum line was on the wrong port. Big thanks to mad dr phil for the info and my brother for fixing it. On with the tuning!!

Old Blue

That is where ZZP puts the air filter. My filter just extends out a little further; all done by ZZP. You would think ZZP would run the filter out the fender opening but they don't.

Then get the tune.

This is great information and a thread I will save for the future.

I have a 5 speed with the s256 ZZP turbo and am thinking about switching to an automatic. The 5 speed is sweet and fun but after a while it is tedious for an older man like me.

Anyone else on this list have an automatic and ZZP s256?

Shane H, it was not responding to tuning changes. Swapped a vacuum line and now I have a boost limit in 1st and 2nd with a nice ramp in 3rd and 4th. More tuning necessary but it already feels great.

Why the limit in second I feel like second is were you spend most of your time during your trip down the 1/4 mile. What are you limiting it to power wise in the low end and in 3rd what's your peak boost going to be?

She blew a coupler off the charge pipe, on datalog 8 and I've been struggling to get it back on. My goal is 400 to 425 whp. Term2 will determine peak boost and how to ramp it in to give the transmission a chance. 27 to 29 is where I think it will peak.

4-1-15 Update, Car is together and boosting 28. Tuning continues.........

Both hands on the wheel stupid fast! If it hooks, I'm feeling 12's, all with a/c, cruise, xm, and 30mpg highway. Fastest, nicest, most comfortable hot rod I've ever had. Timeslip coming when weather cooperates.
