Question 2006 HHR Wheel Specs Help Needed

I am brand new here and I am trying to get some info on my car. It is a 2006 HHR LT with 16 x 6.5 wheels. I need to replace all of them but I don't know the offset or backspacing. Any help would be appreciated. If you know a good place to get new wheels (besides a dealership) that would be helpful too. Thanks!

to the forum Paula!

The specs for rims on an HHR are a 5x110mm bolt pattern, and an offset of 38-42mm.

Here's a thread which outlines which wheels from other GM models that fit HHR's...

If you're looking for OEM wheels, try e-Bay or a google search, and check out our Classifieds Sub-Forum too.

Thanks 843de! I've already tried ebay and Google search but will look at the Classifieds sub-forum too.

You might also try using search terms for the Cobalt SS Pontiac G6 and other vehicles with similar rim bolt patterns

Welcome to the site! If you are looking for some custom rims check out Summit or Jegs and be sure to enter your HHR's info in the seach box

I saw an HHR last summer that had some Chrysler wheels in it. I asked the driver about it and she said they had a Chrysler mini van that had died so they bought the HHR for a good price and started driving that.

The mini van was still sitting in the back yard doing its best to rust into the ground but it had nearly new tires on it so they were going to have them mounted on the stock steel wheels that were on the HHR.

Her husband decided to see if the wheels wouldn't just fit and they did. They had been running the Chrysler wheels from late in winter, about three months when he put them on with no problems.
