Mixing Five Spoke and Standard?
Got new tires on my HHR today and in the process learned that I have two bent wheels.
They are out of balance and can not be repaired, for now they put them on the back.
So, I'm going to be needing some replacement wheels. I currently have the 16" five spoke OEM steel wheels. At the moment looking to go the least expensive route for replacements. I see that the standard steel wheels are quite a bit cheaper than the five spoke. Other than needing to get some different wheel covers, is there any technical reason that they couldn't be used in combination with the five spoke? Would there be any problem with fitting the TPMS sensors to these wheels?
Thanks!

You should be fine if you keep them in pairs, front and back. Doesn't matter which is which but you don't want to have one style on the drivers side and one on the passenger side. The reason I say this is because there is more than likely a weight difference.... I think all other specs are the same (width, offset, etc. etc.)
Thanks for the replies. Looks like LKQ may have two of the five spoke wheels in stock for $105. I guess that's not too bad if they actually have them. If all else fails Tirerack.com has some after market 16" steel wheels for $54 each. Hmm, I can get four NEW wheels for almost the price of two used ones.
I don't know if they are junk for that price. Not that I'm impressed with the quality of the OEM wheels at the moment.

Found two on EBay with a little creative searching for $100 each with free shipping from Mobile, AL.
Fingers crossed that they are in as good of condition as described and as pictured when they arrive.
Best price I could find locally was $135 each plus tax.

Good luck!!! ebay has never done me wrong
IMO the stock wheels are about the weakest steel wheels I have ever seen. I bought a 'warranty' on them when I bought the car, as of now I do not have any of the wheels the car was delivered with.
The Euromax's are becoming leakers due to the bad chrome, I may be wheel shopping in the spring.

Received the replacement wheels on Thursday. They needed a good scrub down, but otherwise at least visually appeared to be in good condition. I wanted to reserve judgement until they were installed and it was confirmed there were no problems. Got them installed this morning and all is well!
