You need to get some sacrificial tires, buy a set of used skins and mount them up on a pair of "burnout only" rims.

Many years ago every Friday night started out by jacking up the car and putting on the "misbehavin' tires". Nothing causes a novice to rethink a stoplight drag faster than seeing a set of slicks on the other car, they just said "bring it buddy" even better than a 396 with open pipes.

I could be talked out of these pretty easily. They would do well for you, I can barely spin them. I don't know what kind of power you are putting down now your tune is there, mine boosts 23 and they hold that. The rub for me is they are summer compound, and that won't be back till next August, ha ha. I'm going to have to trade these in.
