I have the generals on my Charger...when time comes to put new ties on the HHR that's what I'll use. They are great if you stay out of the snow!!

Might check Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star spec

These have been tested by Car and Driver and they beat oy BFG, Michelin, Bridgestone, Nitto, Kumo and many other top brands. They are also very affordable.

Yep looked at them, but I've seen a few reviews that say they hydro plane in deep standing water and they wear out fast. LIving in Alabama can;t have anything that hydro planes easy.

So just to clarify are 245-40's the fattest tire we can get on the stock SS wheels without any mods?
