I’ve had all 3 sizes on my HHR’s 16” , 17” and 18” the 16” were comfortable as are the 17’s , the 18’s were a little harsh .

 

Great picture of your car. Nice running boards and wheel setup. Do you have any other pictures of your ride? My question is what looks like a dark lens light molded into the lower half of the rear fender. What is it and why? I have had two HHRs before this 2011 I bought a year ago. I've always thought the car needs more lighting at the ear. With jurst two small brake lights and turn signals on each side, it's hard to see us. I've put LEDs everywhere I can, including the back-up lights, I've also installed a back-up camera just above the license plate.. I'm thinking of installing a rope light at the bottom of the tailgate that would work in junction with the brake light. And a new third light that blinks before it stays red during braking.

Don’t mess with the third brake light in an HHR . If you’re referring to my 2011 2LT the side marker lights are LED behind a black lens . My tail lights are LED .
