Is there no one locally that can tune the car for you? I only ask because tuning a car while being able to actually drive it is so much easier than having to wait, scan, send, wait, reload, scan, etc. (I speak from the experience of helping my fiancee with tuning vehicles and watching try to him tune a car via email). I would offer my fiancee to help out but he uses HPTuners and I believe you would also have to have the software to load the tunes. He tuned my plain ole HHR and it went from 26-ish MPG to 34 on the highway.

the lnf ecu is tuned much differently than any other ecu. it is also direct injected which means we can run a much leaner afr and the rich afr that a conventional tuner would tune it to would likely cause damage. in short i wouldn't trust anyone who does not have experience tuning an lnf to tune me

I haven't really thought about it to be honest. I should call them and see how much they charge. I live less than five minutes from them.

That's smart. I honestly don't know if he has tuned anything like that, I don't get into all of it I just drive or do as he tells me when I help him tune and don't ask questions.

Yeah, I definitely want someone familiar with the LNF. Thanks for the help though

Thinking about going the Hahn route, since they have the Dyno also. That way if anything goes wrong, I can take it right to them and get a tweak

Still have to get my $$ from BackYardTurds too though

As long as they tune you with HPT and not one of their BSR tunes you should be alright. I may have missed this, but do you have HP Tuners' software with you or are you just relying on what Nick sent you?

I have HPTuners. Not too familiar with how to use it though. I bought it for my Colorado originally
