next monday the dealership is installing new struts and rear shocks on my 07 2LT at no cost I am happy but disappointed they would not use after market parts only OEM so i guess I am stuck with a FE3 set-up for a while... also they told me that a sway bar is a waste of money. they said the solid axle in the rear acts as a sway bar by design and a sway bar would make no difference(?)

The rear end (if we can really use that terminology) is built to flex quite a bit and adding a sway bar will stiffen it up. That said its totally worth putting a rear bar on the HHR , one of the best bang for the buck upgrades imo.
