Fill it from the fill port, on top of the transmission, when it starts to drip out the level check port, stop adding fluid.

Thank you guys. Doing this today.

Do you happen to know if there's a significant amount of coolant that stays in the engine block when doing a coolant flush and fill? I want to replace the coolant (mostly water at this point) and run some prestone coolant flush through it. Do I need to drain and fill several times to dilute the stuff that gets stuck in the engine block or is it fine if I just do one drain and fill?

I would not use chemicals to flush. Aluminum alloys don't like it.

Drain, fill then drain again and refill, and burp the system, use 50/50 Dexcool, I use the premixed Prestone brand. And while you’re draining the system replace the thermostat an AC Delco 131-158 180 degree is the only one to use, many have tried other brands and experienced failures. Including myself.
