Is the factory mount fluid-filled? I took mine off today to make room for a serpentine belt change, and the bottom of the mount and the framerail where it attaches was wet and oily. Time for a new mount perhaps....

Engine mount in & trans mount?

Installed a TTR upper engine mount I bought from a another forum member last nite & made my car so much more fun to drive again, shifting is much improved especially down shifting. Was wondering if trans mounts worth getting since the engine mount is solid?

Best to do both. Right now only 1/2 is being extra supportive.

I did both the upper mount and the lower trans mounts. My SS is a 5spd. It added a little vibration at idle, which I expected, but the car seems much more stable. It also seems to be more forgiving and less prone to stall on acceleration. I'm used to driving a V8, so I tend to not give the 4 banger enough fuel when letting the clutch out.
