That and the fact that the headlights come from the factory tilting slightly upward doesn't help either.

I'll say it again.

Dealers are SUPPOSED to make headlight alignment corrections, if necessary, in the pre-delivery.

Looking through this thread I wonder how many getting flashed have put lowering springs in their HHR and not realigned the headlights? (Other than allowing for heavy loads)

FYI, if you sort through the GM Legal Dept. warnings in the Owner Manual, one of the useful things there is the procedure for properly aligning the headlights. It's pretty easy.

I am not lowered and have no mechanical mods. Also no heavy loads or people (just me and my 20 lb. daughter).

Same Problem

I get the "flash" with just me in the car. But when it's loaded, they are way up! I had five "big" people in the beast one night and every driver thought I was the biggest idiot on the road (had the rear muds scrapping too).
