Remote start not working in really cold temps

I also know when driving in cold temperatures the dash will flash “ice possible”. It might just be that it is too cold to remote start and the car wants you to use the key in those temperatures for some safety reason?

Seems to me this is a common issue on cars with factory remote start. The last time it was this cold in WI remote start was not a factory installed item. At least not on cars I could afford.

It takes a bit more energy for RS. Low battery is also a show stopper. I guess the radio needs extra juice.
